Disgraceful exhibit of callousness at White House
As I witnessed #47 and his wanna-be VP excoriate President Zelenskyy—I am appalled and lost for words. As an American citizen I apologize to President Zelenskyy and his people. My parents participated in on the side of the Allies during WWII. My father worked as an ironworker in US who helped building war materiel and my mother and her brothers resisted Fascism in occupied Europe —my uncles fought Nazis and Fascists. As an American citizen, I find it unconscionable to support Mr. Trump’s actions. This disgraceful!
Feel the same. Am also deeply emabarassed and ashamed for my country.
Trump/vance were pushing Zelensky to accept a two step peace plan where first is an unconditional ceasefire in place with a future negotiated long term peace plan. Zelenskyy knew that would mean capitulation. Russia would keep All occupied territory. Vance was pushing Zelenskyy in front of cameras to agree but Zelenskyy wasn’t going to be bullied.
